Once you have decided on the size and orientation, look through the pictures of the various carvings which
can be incorporated in the frame. We often find it useful to decide on a theme of either garden, woodland or water scenes to help decide on the carvings to use.
The basic frame consists of trees at the sides, leaves at the top and a base appropriate to the final
design. Twine at the side and mushrooms or leaves on the floor come as part of the basic frame when the design allows.
You can choose the colours for your frame from the varnishes page. The leaves and reeds can be either dark green, light green or one of the wood colours.
A contrasting colour for the floor give the frame a more interesting look.
The Simple Woodlands consist of one or two carvings
on a plain frame. These can be either landscape or portrait and come in two sizes:- 520mm x 380mm or 760mm x 520mm. The larger carvings are not suitable for the smaller mirror. As for
the woodlands, one of the varnishes can be chosen for the frame colour.
The carvings are priced separately and must be added to the basic price of the frame.
The basic frame consists of trees at the sides, leaves at the top and a base and details appropriate for
the final design. The creatures and flowers are priced seperately and must be added to the basic price. Customised sizes are available.
